the problem


There may be only a few alcoholic beverages that are impervious to seasons - and honestly, hard seltzer ain’t one of them. The thing is, seasons do happen and the affect they bear on the cyclical nature of alc. bev. is resonant. As purveyors of fizzy tropical berry suds, we know where to lean into our ecosystemic strengths, and the holiday season isn’t a big bet we’re about to rest our laurels upon.

But that doesn’t mean we can’t still experiment, you never know when where or how we might surprise and delight consumer’s tastebuds. The holiday season provides a warm and flavorful palette, a continued opportunity to showcase the versatile canvas nature of hard seltzer that still matches the brand’s perspective on creativity and vibrant flavor.

Leading this production I knew above all, I want to create visually apetizing content you can taste with your eyes. Bringing this to life required seamless collaboration with product development and culinary teams - it also demanded lots of pre-holiday set design, prop procurement, cookie baking and Mariah Carey. 

The work truly speaks for itself, as we bankrolled enough assets to push us through for several holiday seasons to come - all pulled off on a shoestring budget for a project we try not to overinvest in. This work found its way into organic & paid social, press releases, and web where we featured recipes for the audience to create at home.

Some of these innovative trulixirs even found their way into subsequent Truly Seasonal Holiday Party Packs, showing how product reasearch and testing doesn’t always need to take place in a lab to prove insightful.
